Welcome to all who pass this way.
God created people with the intent and purpose of being in relationship with us. Having a relationship with God is what makes us truly and totally Human, but if we do not have that relationship we are not complete, and therefore unfulfilled. Sin comes into the world to drive a wedge between us and God -- breaking up the relationship. Through the ages Sin has accomplished its task by sending a variety of messages . Among other things Sin tells people: that there is no God; that we are not good enough for God; that we do not need God; that we can do just fine on our own; that God does not really care how we live; and so on and on. All people in one way or another have believed Sin. The more we believe Sin, the further we get from God, the more we offend God, the greater the legal penalty we owe God. Finally, while we Human Beings were still in the grips of Sin, God came to us in Jesus Christ to show His love for us, to provide a means of forgiveness for the penalty we owe, to take away the power of Sin to interrupt our relationship, to restore our relationship so that we can be complete. In order to accomplish all this Jesus accepted the sin of all people everywhere as his own and died on the cross. Our sin and separation died with Him. Jesus was resurrected from death and now is with God in heaven interceding for us. The saving acts of Jesus Christ were for the whole world, but we must not forget that while he died for everyone, he died for individuals like you and me. All that Jesus has done is an undeserved gift for us. All you have to do to be a complete person, know your sins are forgiven, and be made free from the power of Sin is to agree with God (confess) that you need forgiveness and accept the gift that Jesus has given you, believing that He has saved you from your Sin. Once you have renewed your relationship with your God and Savior I strongly encourage you to become involved with a church near where you live so you can be nurtured in the Christian faith, and learn more about all the ways God wants to bless and fulfill your life. Please feel free to Email Bro. Ron with any questions or comments you may have.
